Dear Friend,

The time has come for YOU to protect your rights and get involved in Citizens for Healthcare Freedom (CHF) and the passage of North Carolina's Consumer Health Freedom Act.                

What is The NC Consumer Health Freedom Act?

An amendment to the NC medical licensing law to protect the right to choose nutritional supplements and access alternative, holistic, complementary, or natural health providers or practitioners. The legislation would protect the right of health care providers to offer their services legally and safely, without fear of being prosecuted for "practicing medicine without a license" in NC.

Our natural healthcare rights could be challenged without the passage of this bill. As consumers we could possibly face natural supplementation being handled entirely at the discretion of a doctor's prescription, the FDA or pharmaceutical companies in the near future.  To ensure you, your clients and the citizens of NC can continue the right and freedom to control what happens to your bodies, choose your own health paths, and make your own health choices as you see fit, we need your support.  

Citizens for Healthcare Freedom (CHF) is YOUR grassroots organization in North Carolina lobbying to PROTECT your legal RIGHTS to access and choose vitamins, herbal supplements and holistic practitioners. 

CHF has a professional registered lobbyist working hard to pass The Consumer Health Freedom Act this year. Nature's Sunshine has pledged Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) to help us get started this year, with the understanding that CHF match that amount through private fundraising within thirty days. It is critical we secure matching funding immediately to cover the costs and expenses associated with the passage of this House Bill for the 2009-2010 session.
