Dr. Alex Duarte
Dr. Duarte, O.D., Ph.D., is well known for his natural, alternative approaches to solving health problems. He is a nationally recognized lecturer, author and radio/television personality. He has written 15 groundbreaking books on nutritional and health topics. Dr. Duarte holds a doctorate degree in Optometry and a Ph.D. in Nutrition. He is Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Preventives. He served as the nutritionist for several Olympic champions and has lectured for the American Naturopathic Association and the National Nutritional Foods Association. Dr. Duarte is a member of the Board of Editors of the Journal of Applied Nutrition.
Dr. Frank Ervolino
Dr. Ervolino lives in Palm City, Fla. He is on the staff of Jupiter Medical Center Hospital as one of the hospital's acupuncturists. He also practices as an Acupuncture Physician in a clinic he shares with Dr. Mark Gocke. He received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters of Science Degree in acupuncture from Bastyr University in Seattle. In 2003, he was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to the Florida State Board of Acupuncture. He has served as the Senior Research Editor of Better Nutrition Magazine. Dr. Ervolino emphasizes prevention, treatment and the promotion of optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and modalities.
Steven Horne
Steven Horne, M.H., serves on the Board of the American Herbalist Guild and is the founder of the Tree of Light Institute, which offers support and educational materials to NSP Distributors and Managers. Steven served as the editor of NSP's Sunshine Horizons and later contributed his valuable herbal knowledge as the instructor of the original Manager School. He has served as the President of the American Herbalists Guild for three years and currently sits on the Advisory Board of the International Iridology Practitioners Association
Dr. William Keller
Dr. Keller is the Vice President of Health Sciences and Educational Services at Nature's Sunshine. He has been actively researching, teaching and serving in the field of pharmacognosy since earning his doctoral degree from the University of Washington in 1972. Dr. Keller's academic career spanned 30 years, earning his bachelor's (Pharmacy) and master's (Pharmaceutical Sciences) degrees from Idaho State University and his Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy from the University of Washington. While in academics, Dr. Keller was involved with testing, research, service and administration. He is currently involved in ongoing product and ingredient testing in cooperation with top scientists at major universities
Dr. Rallie McAllister
Dr. McAllister, M.D., MPH, MSEH, is a board-certified family physician with master's degrees in both Public Health and Environmental Health. She is the author of Healthy Lunchbox: The Working Mom's Guide to Keeping You and Your Kids Trim. Her nationally syndicated column, Your Health by Dr. Rallie McAllister, is read weekly by millions of Americans in newspapers throughout the U.S. Rallie's fitness and nutrition tips for parents and kids have been featured in numerous publications, including USA Today, Parents Magazine, Prevention, Family Circle, Better Homes and Gardens, WebMD and others.
Dr. Gordon Pedersen
Dr. Pedersen graduated with a Ph.D. in Toxicology at Utah State University. He has a Master's Degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness. He now serves as the Director of the Institute of Alternative Medicine and was nominated to chair the United States Pharmacopoeia Review Board Natural Products Committee. Dr. Pedersen is the formulator of more than 150 nutritional products. He is an international best-selling author and is the host of the radio show "Common Sense Medicine."
Dr. Hugo Rodier
Hugo Rodier, M.D., has a medical practice in Salt Lake City, and is a recognized authority in Nutritional and Integrative Medicine and Psycho-Neural Immunology. He serves an active role as a member of the editorial board of the Utah Medical Association. Dr. Rodier teaches integrative medicine at the University of Utah Medical School and the Salt Lake Community College. He has done extensive research to scientifically validate the use of natural therapies using material taken from standard medical journals. By integrating natural therapies in his practice, Dr. Rodier lends a unique perspective on herbs and supplements.
